Small Group Productivity

  • Individuals can be productive up to a point
  • Group productivity always exceeds the combined productivity of individuals
  • Increased interaction among members leads to greater productivity
  • Communications should be democratic, with all equal to avoid group think
  • Technology can help to move quicker
  • Storage of accumulated group knowledge and wisdom increases further productivity
  • Groups like individuals have short-term and long-term memory
  • Information becomes valuable only when it can be and is shared.  Secrets are worthless.
